Reach the support page, there's explanations and link to the "hold" site.
Thanks. I did say that I knew about the old site in the part of my post you didn't quote. I had to make a new account to buy the upgrade.
Sorry.
Good you've sorted it out though.

So I'm guessing Sean@Valhalla has nothing to do with this update? :)

Isn't it scaleable ? I had read "future proof" on the webpage, so i thought it would be resizeable.
Curious to listen to it.
The GUI looks great !

It says it's 'procedurally generated' which I presume means vector based so should be scalable.

Post

Doesn't seem to be scaleable. Its about 25% bigger than the original Eos. I cant find a way to change the size.

The manual gives credit to Sean Costello for the algorithms.
The audio demo sounds good, very wide.

I'm liking the Inf (hold) function ...

If its developed by Sean than its a must have...

Awesome. I love EOS, esp P1 but was thinking of getting Valhalla plate or the Abbey plates so getting some of Sean's updated plate algos in a cool AD skin for $10 is quite a treat! Totally unexpected. Great to see a Dev that cares for and supports his loyal customers :tu:

One thing I noticed when directly comparing to old EOS is that I have to give around a 3db boost to the return on EOS2, I really like it, still has the character of EOS but a bit brighter and better stereo tails, I like how the long tails washes around in EOS2, some good improvements from a lot of study by Sean. I might still get Valhalla plate for some more of that Unobtainium though.

very equitable price for the upgrade ...
looking forward to this ...

I believe Sean only designed the Superhall algorithm which is in Eos v1 too.

So I can't log into the new site, but I can log into the old site. But the Eos 2 is not on the old site. So how do I get the upgrade if I bought Eos 1 but am a victim of the messed up email stuff acknowledged by AD on their support page?
2020 iMac 27" 10 Core, OS 15.3, MOTU M2, iConnectMidi4+, Novation SL MKIII, Push 2, Ableton Live, VCV Rack Pro 2, Bitwig Studio

Using the link I posted earlier in this thread. The upgrade installer requires Eos 1 being already installed, but doesn't need to be tied to the old account on the old site.

I think they licensed the plate model from Valhalla Plate with plate parameters to suit EOS, it wouldn't make sense to do anything else. P1 sounds a lot like the Valhalla Lithium plate but more density and mono'd input, P2 and P3 I'm not sure, sounds like Copper or Cobalt or Chrome, maybe new flavours but the same chef for sure.
