The same may be applicable for Everyplugin, I haven't tried there.
That's an insanely good value for such an insanely good reverb.

just a heads up...
right now it's 49$
even cheaper at the usual suspects. couldn't resist (all my resistance went into ultrareverb. haha).

And the entire H-Series bundle is $63 at EveryPlugin with coupon code.

Thanks Fleer, I did that (took the H-Series bundle).

Man this reverb is Destroyer of CPUs. 20%+ in a single instance. I can see myself using it on special occasions though or as the single master verb Aux send.

My take on H-Reverb so far is that it's not really a great sounding reverb so much as it's a cool reverb/delay special effect. It might be the killer techno reverb. Has anyone used it in that context? (I mean proper techno).

I dunno, I'm not getting that special feeling in my tummy on this one, even at the silly low price that it's currently at. My sense is that I'm better off using it as inspiration for some Reaper/Reason racks of my own with better sounding reverbs combined with EchoBoy.

HReverb does have a unique sound. I call it "constrained". its not open and lush. but this is useful on a variety of instruments especially acoustic instuments. try it with plucks.

I bought Hreverb now and noticed great cpu optimisation. year ago on the same system around 20% and now 6-10%.To me best sounding and most flexible reverb available

It's $29.99 at the moment: https://www.waves.com/plugins/h-reverb- ... for-vocals

Considered it for 0.14 seconds, and them remembered how many reverbs I already own. :D It's nice though. Definitely my favorite Waves plugin.

I theory it looks goods, in practice it sounds bad (to me)

Man to think I paid much more for mine all those years back. It's definitely a great reverb that I still get alot of use out. The FIR engine consumes more CPU, but you get no zippering or ringing in the tail. That's a common problem with the conventional reverb tech, developers end up filtering the reverb decay to get around it.

It does a really good job at approximating real acoustic spas too, I find. The trick is the use of Build Up and the echoes.

Like many others here I have dozens of soft reverbs but I'm still using H-Reverb here and there for its unique sound, especially with orchestral samples.

I purchased it cheap a couple of years ago. First I was like no I don't need anothr reverb. But I don't have a special reverb for my dark ambient stuff. So tried it and it can do so much more compared to what a typical reverb can do. So yes a great tool for ambient stuff.

Just recently I did the old trick of taking a drum overhead, adding predelay and sending it through a reverb to artificially generate a room mic. I tried about 3 different reverbs, but in this particular instance, H-Reverb turned out to be the best sounding option.

It’s not always the case, but it certainly stands up against its competition. It just all depends on context and what aesthetics you’re looking for.

This is still one of the best sounding and most versatile reverbs in an over saturated market. It can sound super realistic or lofi, digital and dirty. Only other reverb that really compares is R4.
Also it still has my favorite GUI for a reverb.
As for vervs Recently i been using Polyverse Comet, Exponential Audio R4 and TC Electronic 8210 on a ton of stuff. While Vahalla Vintage Dirty Hall mode is my favorite sound.

Yes, it has a sound of its own that works very well in a number of scenarios.
