You are right on as far as them being million times better live. If you have the opportunity to see them they will be touring again in November. The Stage One CD is really good. Want That Life is not bad. Personnally, I like the album but I know what you are saying. I think their next album will have a harder edge to it.

I'm a huge fixx fan as well, but really, elemental and want that life sound so lame and tame and lifeless to me, I heard some live versions of some of the songs on these albums and they sound a million times better, like they had so much more energy and emotion to them,
I wonder why they haven't been able to capture this magic on their latest albums ???
