I remember Children at the top spot of the charts. It was pretty disturbing how different that track was from anything back then.

Still like a lot quite a few of his tracks to this date.

In early 1996 it was hammered everywhere , so I can understand that somebody don't like it, because it was played so much.

It is a bit like Popcorn by Hot Butter. To me that is a synth pop classic, but those at the time in 1972 propably got enough of it, to not like it that much in hindsight.
