Sorry if this has been mentioned before - but can it please NOT contain an ad for Synthmaster 2 in the browser window (I already own it) !
Is there a way of getting rid of this so I can see a bigger browser window ?

That annoys me too, a commercial product should not contain ads.MikeCallon wrote:Sorry if this has been mentioned before - but can it please NOT contain an ad for Synthmaster 2 in the browser window (I already own it) !

A great synth you bought for $29 and you're moaning about an pissy little ad tucked away in a tab off the main screen.
As first world problems go, tell me when the froth on your coffee gives you a milktache
But seriously, isn't there some kids you should be yelling at to get off your lawn?

Nice attempt at humor, but before you embarrass yourself some more, checkout the new Satyatunes skins that are one of the main updates to the latest version. The ad is not in a separate tab, it takes up half the browser window.Aliens wrote:A great synth you bought for $29 and you're moaning about an pissy little ad tucked away in a tab off the main screen.

I'm not embarrassed and have no need to be. The main synth page is ad free, like it should be, and the ad is still in a tab which doesn't detract from this users experience at all. That's quite all right for a product that cost me $29. It's a non issue to me and I can't see why it should be to anyone.
Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it, Mike. Forget that inconsequential browser tab ad and just get on making sounds and tweaking that great sounding interface you've paid for.

There's an ad in the GUI? Never noticed it.
Ah, the things that people will complain about.

Congratulations if it doesn't bother you .... but personally, having to see an ad for a synth that I already own and that takes up literally 50% of the browser window is a pain (have you actually tried the Satyatunes skin at 140%)?
I don't think it's an unreasonable request to ask whether it's possible to remove the ad (especially if you already own the Synthmaster everything bundle!).

Likewise, commiserations you feel an ad in the browser is such an intrusion to your work flow and has become an enjoyment killer in a product you paid the grand sum of $29 for.
Remember, the add doesn't make it sound worse or anything, or affect your ability to program or play some great sounding code. Maybe you're focussing on the wrong part of the overall here?
Obviously I don't have such concerns about an ad, even being on the latest version, though of course I accept your right to be be put out by it.

I have to agree, the space taken up by advertising comes at a cost with the screen real estate.
Demo version users shouldn't complain with ads though.
Paid users shouldn't be subjected to spam, besides it makes an excellent browser look ugly.
A separate tab for news and advertising would suffice
