This is with older versions of Logic (8 & 9). It turns out that there is a bug in older versions of auval, where it doesn't recognize the version number. Logic Pro X correctly identifies the version number. Unfortunately, Logic 8 & 9 don't seem to recognize the "proper" fix (i.e. a fresh rebuild of the Audio Units, which theoretically should strip out all resource and component versions). And it's not like Apple is going to fix bugs in older Logic versions.lasermonkey wrote:I just installed the update and VVV no longer works. I got an incompatible Audio Unit message when Logic started up, and now VVV is unavailable. I've sent a support request via the website. Has anyone else had this issue?
So I'll be building a "special" installer for Logic 8 and 9 later tonight, that I'll put into user accounts. Everyone who isn't using Logic 8 or 9 should use the existing installers in your user accounts.

the absurd courts the vulgar
and some kinds of love
the possibilites are endless
and for me to miss one
