Will fix this issue guys.MikeCallon wrote: I don't think it's an unreasonable request to ask whether it's possible to remove the ad (especially if you already own the Synthmaster everything bundle!).
Thanks for the "bug" report

Is there a way of getting rid of this so I can see a bigger browser window ?
Ever heard of something called 'Windows 10'?

Right there, Deputy God is the arrogance of your argument. Not because it isn't an issue for you means it shouldn't be for anyone else.Aliens wrote:I'm not embarrassed and have no need to be. The main synth page is ad free, like it should be, and the ad is still in a tab which doesn't detract from this users experience at all. That's quite all right for a product that cost me $29. It's a non issue to me and I can't see why it should be to anyone.

Not only that kind of ads is irrelevant for people who are already owners... but in addition each room is extremely precious on a GUI to be used for something much more useful.

So how do you change the size? Dragging the borders as on other plugins does not work....

To Bülent:
I repeat once more something which has been said several times in the past: it is a huge error to baptize all the synths with the same name.
Synthmaster 2.8
Synthmaster ONE
Then later... Synthmaster 3.
All these synths are not at all the same, but they all have the same long name, with just a suffix to differentiate them... and it brings a huge confusion into the mind of many people. It can also lead to very worrying mistakes having a financial impact (and therefore a reputation impact) because mistakes in the next purchases of extensions. You can bet that many people will buy preset banks which are made for Synthmaster 2.8 thinking that these are simply "preset banks for Synthmaster" (their "Synthmaster" synthesizer) while their Synthmaster synthesizer is in fact Synthmaster ONE (or 3 in a year or two) for which the presets banks for Synthmaster 2.8 are not compatible at all.
Sticking to this collective name "Synthmaster" is ALREADY a huge source of confusion in many threads, notably about the type of synthesis (wavetable? not wavetable? sample reading? no sample reading? etc.)
And it is also a strong error of strategy, because there are already people who say "Why would I buy Synthmaster ONE while I already buy Synthmaster TWO?" and also people who say "If these synths have the same name, even if they are different they probably share more or less the same qualities... and more or less the same flaws" while we know (us who are lovers of KV331 synths and who like to share our ideas and experiences in the KVR community) that it is not the case. But it is not everybody who comes at KVR to get our knowledge and our experience of your synths. And for someone who even doesn't know KVR, such huge mistakes in purchases of one or several extensions can drive to real issues relative to the refunds of things which are immaterial things so generally not refundable.
Your strong marketing error, Bülent, is in the focus of the NEW and NEXT owners! Because just by using always the same name for your synths it brings all these confusions which are real drawbacks for these new and next owners, and remember that the anger of several users (not necessarily a lot, the problem begins already just with two or three persons in a same thread) can heavily affect the reputation of a designer in threads of forums. And in addition it puts in their mind the impression that you have made in fact only one synth, named Synthmaster, and that these three products are in fact simply variations of a same synth. We already observe it everywhere in many threads, in the KVR forums, in the Gearslutz forums, in the Audiofanzine forums, in the Cockos forums, etc. Everywhere, we already have to repeat and repeat and repeat again that "no, they are not the same synths", "No, ~ ONE is not a 'prequel' of ~ 2.8","no, the wavetable managements are totally different in ~ 2.8 and in ~ ONE", "no, the presets for ~2.8 are not compatible with ~ONE", etc.
Why not simply having named it "ONE" ? It would have been nice... given that it was already sufficient and given that the brand name KV331 is enough to gather them in the mind.
Honestly, it is yet time to reconsider the name of ONE, because this new synth is yet very young (and doesn't have yet any dedicated extension).

You know what? It's hard to argue with this. And as somebody who has made a 3rd party library for Synthmaster 2.6 (yeah, that long ago) and will make others for their next 2 synths, I am going to have to put very clear warnings on my sales pages for Synthmaster ONE That these patches ONLY work with Synthmaster ONE and do NOT work with any other Synthmaster version.BlackWinny wrote:To Bülent:

I agree. When it was just Synthmaster, with everything being backward compatible, it didn't matter. Now, it's going to become a royal pain for 3rd party developers because of all the assumptions that prospective buyers are going to make.
Problem is, it's really too late to fix this. The horse is already out of the barn.

SynthMaster 3 will read SynthMaster One presets so it wont have any compatibility issues.
As for the branding, I will stick to the SynthMaster name as we've already invested a lot of time and money to the brand. Coming up with a new product/brand name will require a lot of effort to market the new brand.

I didn't talk about changing the BRAND name, Bülent... but the SYNTH name.kv331 wrote:SynthMaster 3 will read SynthMaster One presets so it wont have any compatibility issues.

Remember a previous example: two years ago Xils-Lab changed the name Synthix to Syn'X.... and it didn't penalize the sales at all.
The important thing is to take this decision before the release of any preset bank. Just that. That's all. After that... it becomes indeed too late.
I let you imagine the huge confusions that this name will create not only in the mind of the future customers but also in the marketing work of the preset designers ! (and wagtunes gave a perfect example of what that situation will create for them)

Each product has certain "System Requirements" specified, and that's valid for preset banks as well. The correct product name should be specified by the designer in their product description. I don't think that should be a big deal.
