Thanks, but does not work for me in Live on Mac. I change the skin, after a delay it shows the number (e.g.160), I close and reopen the vst window but it is no larger, even though it now says 160. If I delete the vst and reload it is back to the default skin. Same results with the AU version. And, yes, it is the latest update.

can you email me a screenshot?

I placed a check where the skin area can not be smaller than 20% and larger than 80% of the entire screen. Maybe that code is preventing you from using a larger skin ? What's your screen size?

SynthMaster 3 will read SynthMaster 2 presets? In a sense, 3 = 2+1?

I tried both smaller and larger sizes with same results

The confusion isn't from "Synthmaster" being in the name; it's the inclusion of the word "One" in the name. A simple change to something like Synthmaster Wave, Hive, Pulse, Jive, Jacked, Sonic, etc. would fix the odd numbering issue that Synthmaster One has caused between it and its big brother SM 2.

Deputy God ( ) says he isn't confused by product names Synthmaster One, Synthmaster 2 and Synthmaster 3 as he recognises them all as individual, completely different entities.
Deity second in command is, in the future, also prepared to not be bothered in any way by Synthmaster Four or Synthmaster 5 should they ever exist, as he's happy to just play and program his purchases rather than worry about the banal, which is all said and done, none of his business. :hihi:

As long as the Synthmaster numbers aren't like the Star Trek movies.

Post

As long as they're better than 'Insurrection', that's for sure.

I know I know  But people get used to changes :D

We considered "First", "LE" also, but "One" sounded/felt better in a way.

There is no confusion... Synthmaster One came out first, then came Synthmaster 2 which you could upgrade to. Synthmaster 3 will be next!

I guess people should see Sunthmaster One as just 'one' layer of original Synthmaster (now 2), which has 2 layers ;) although if Synthmaster 3 indeed will have 8 layers... then that again probably will be challenging for some people to follow :)

We our "assumption" was "One" would imply beginner/entry level version.

SM3 will be 8 layers, or even we could make it 16 and fully multitimbral like Access Virus. (Going from 8 to 16 is a matter of changing one constant in the code :) )
