btw this isn't a Reason problem, its cubase/nuendo. Tracktion can treat all Reason outputs as stereo. Then you don't have to use fancy bussing etc. to add inserts.

I think it's the same in Ableton Live: It generally treats them as stereo channels. Can't say for sure though, as I'm not at my music computer at the moment.
