As first world problems go, tell me when the froth on your coffee gives you a milktache

But seriously, isn't there some kids you should be yelling at to get off your lawn?
Nice attempt at humor, but before you embarrass yourself some more
Aliens got no sense of humour, and he can't stop embarrasing himself (or is that herself? )

The complaint about the ad in the GUI is pertinent, and do not deserve to be ridiculed.

Edit: As one can clearly see from the reply below, s/he is not able to add much content of interest except smileys.

Trolling is comments like you make like this:
As first world problems go, tell me when the froth on your coffee gives you a milktache
I mean, what has that got to do with SynthMaster One ?

Can I just say, as a casual KVR reader, and with genuine interest in the topics I'm reading about, it gets really tedious constantly reading your negative comments that seem to have nothing to do with the subject i'm trying to read.
Any chance you can keep it to PM's so people like me don't have to read it, please?

Thanks.

There is no confusion... Synthmaster One came out first, then came Synthmaster 2 which you could upgrade to. Synthmaster 3 will be next!
Well, it didn't come first, that's the problem
So Synthmaster One is 2 and Synthmaster 2 is One :hihi:

You know I completely I agree.

I tried to do that today, but the first thing the other user did [AnX] was to publish the pm in the forum, and saying s/he wanted all communication to be public.

An attempt at getting back on topic.

I saw the recent update, but does it add anything more than the scaled GUI?:

In case not, I think I will not update, as I am happy with the GUI as it is now, and the synth is stable.

Hi,
since the update to 1.0.4 my Synthmaster One doesn't show the correct gui size.
No matter which skin I choose I only see a part of it in the gui window.
I use Logic Pro X (10.3.1) and macOS sierra (10.12.4) and a screen size of 3840x2160 (31,5 inch Dell monitor)
Thanks for your help,
Florian

I reported this issue earlier, for Mac/Live 9. I change the setting skin, close the window, reopen, no change. If I remove from the DAW, then add back, the setting reverts to default....really should keep what you change it to. I just tested in NumerologyPro, same problem. Not a big deal, but it should be fixed.

'SM3 will be 8 layers, or even we could make it 16 and fully multitimbral like Access Virus' ....why always people r reacting negative way when say something constructive about sound designers needz like 4 osc per layer - is it problem with coding or in the structure of SM2 than can not be changed or what i don't understand - i adore Sm2 ,what if you have 16 layers with 4 osc - it will be monster :)What about unison can u implement 16 voices ?

Would love to see a resizable retina version of the monochrome prototype skin. Is this a possibility?

Because of the digital environment we are using now. The more oscillators and filters you add, the more you have to lower the quality of the instrument. One highest possible quality oscillator and highest quality filter with the full highest quality synth engine available to them is a higher quality option then a 16 layer synth with lower quality, if you can layer it as many times as you want anyway.

So, what is, in your opinion, the difference between a synth with 16 layers, and 16 instances of Diva? Your argument doesn't really make sense. I think every synth developer strives for the highest possible sound quality. Performance will ALWAYS be a consideration, when a synth is developed. I think Urs stated that the CPU consumption for Diva was halved, since version 1 was released. That's how much you can achieve, when you optimize, and find smart ways, to make software more performant.

Bülent also could make Synthmaster 1 part. I think it is rather something you like to give people, so that sound designers can make a one-note "plays a whole track" kind of patch, which WOW's the people. Frankly, i never saw a real life application for such kind of patches. It's more like something you can go nuts on, as a sound designer, who may be bored of a 1-layer synth. That's my opinion, YMMV.
