Anybody have any Ideas as to what I could offer as relevant rewards for different tiers?

This may be obvious, but I suggest you not try and reinvent the wheel.

Browse through other successful Kickstarter/GoFundMe campaigns (maybe related to music production, but they don't have to be) and see what others have offered.

Is there a rating system on Kickstarter (with comments)? If so, that should give you a notion of what rewards were popular -- as well as those that weren't. The idea here is not to just offer the same rewards, but figure out the thought processes behind successful campaigns.

It's as good a place to start as any....

Good luck!

Oh boy another sampled orchestra. You know when you can rent f*cking ewql hollywood shit for like pocket change? I gotta wonder how this makes sense...

Whatever.

Some questions, if I may...
Who is involved in the project and what roles will they be filling during this campaign and product development?
What experience do those people have?
Is the project's producer aware of the competition?
What standard of quality among competitors does the team aspire to meet or surpass?
What features are planned for the product?
Is the 170 grand goal enough to deliver the product with those features at that standard of quality?
Will there be stretch goals for additional features if initial funding is met?
How will the money be spent during development?
How long will product development take?
Is the project's director / manager aware of the technical hurdles and expenses of developing a kontakt library?
What's plan B?

Worry about tiers for backers later. You need this basic shit out in the open first.

Completely true. I would like to add: what makes you better? Even if you've got an experienced team and a well estimated budget, how are you going to beat your competitors?

BTW, I must say that Armagibbon goes very well with Zanarchestra.
