Wow, you are right, I didn't realize :D

So what does it mean?

"Kohen: a member of the priestly caste, having certain rights and duties in the synagogue."

And why does Israel participate in the the ESC? Israel is in Asia 8) They should do their own contest in the Middle East, sing rather than fight against the Palestinians 8)

Did you see the map of EuroVision, why is Australia there?

Hallelujah lends very well to noodling: C D# F D#, G C D#, G B A F, B F G

Yes, I know, I was asking that before. Australia is even more absurd...

Nevertheless, my fav entry in the compo, is those Belgians Telex '80 making a hommage to the whole deal "Euro-Vision"

Playing chords on the Micro-Moog, goes to show how live it all was

It's Dutch television, what would you have expected? :hihi:
We always had a big laugh about it, sync was so bad in those days; it even became a gimmick!

As a big Telex fan, I am just amazed that they even got to be on the show :D

Well, the Dutch didn't have any significant bands lol so they would come up with stories like 'we made this (English) band famous.'
The Stranglers even made a reference to Amsterdam in 'Bitching.'

But it was all nonsense in fact. This whole idea of freedom was literally built on the squatter scene. And the squatter scene was literally built on the fact that socialists decided to tear the old city down. And hard drug distribution, of course. But now it becomes 'political', I suppose :D

FTFY

But I think Bucks Fizz is even a bigger schläger than Nicole

Post

The word is Schlager, Schläger is a racket (tennis, ping pong etc.) or a person that likes to beat up others.

You are right

But adding ¨ on top of a, makes it so much weird and wacko scandinavian. Like Hägar or the Swedish chef :D

BTW, today is 8 years to the day that Norway last won EuroVision 8)
