Will Cubase 8.5 plug-ins run in Cubase 7.5 ?

I've got a license for Cubase Pro 8.5. Since I'm visualy impaired I'm using a hight contrast theme on Windows 10. This doesn't work with Cubase 8.5. So instead I'm using Cubase 7.5 (that works with the high contrast theme).
My question is: If I install Cubase 8.5. Will I be able to use the Cubase 8.5 plug-ins in Cubase 7.5 ?

If you mean the built-in ones, then yes, you can.sfd wrote:I've got a license for Cubase Pro 8.5. Since I'm visualy impaired I'm using a hight contrast theme on Windows 10. This doesn't work with Cubase 8.5. So instead I'm using Cubase 7.5 (that works with the high contrast theme).

And probably any others, too.

Meanwhile if someone has figured out how to make 8.5/9 look like 7 (the theme, contrast, fonts, etc.) it would be a deal maker for me. Cuz that's one of the reasons preventing me from using it.

Are the, eventual, benefits of using 8.5 instead of 7.5 worht the trouble?keyman_sam wrote:Meanwhile if someone has figured out how to make 8.5/9 look like 7 (the theme, contrast, fonts, etc.) it would be a deal maker for me. Cuz that's one of the reasons preventing me from using it.
I don't know what's better in 8.5/9. But whatever it might be there's nothing I feel I really miss in 7.5.

From top of my head - nested VCA faders and import tracks from any other project without first making track archive of them.sfd wrote: I don't know what's better in 8.5/9. But whatever it might be there's nothing I feel I really miss in 7.5.
In 9 - history of changes in mixer and lower zone which is useful if working on single display.
