Hello Everett!
:)

To maintain the coherence, I would suggest you rather:
  • To load and save entire tables click on "Load Table" and "Save Table"
  • To load and save individual waveforms, click on "Load Wave" and "Save Wave"
Not only it maintains the coherence, but also it definitely prevents any disturbing and useless hesitation.

in the middle menu bar just above the panel.
Cheers, overlooked that.

Yes, I want to do WAV import soon, but I don't think that will be in this weeks release.
No problem at all.

Exported waveforms are stored horizontally mirrored / inverted.

How do you get a password?
None of the two purchase emails I received has one and there's been no reply to the the email I sent to support@fathom synths with my purchase code. :(

Heks, Sorry for the delay, I was coding all day and had not checked the support email yet.
I think I just responded to your email with the password.
If you do not get it send another and I will check regularly today and respond.

XGMode: I just tested the wave export.
It works perfectly for me.
I created a wave that is not symetric vertically or horizontally
so it is easy to see if it was inverted either way.
Then I saved it and loaded all three files into Audacity.

0000 NEW WAVEFORM Note A2 110 Hertz One Second.wav
0000 NEW WAVEFORM Single Cycle Band Limited.wav
0000 NEW WAVEFORM Single Cycle Raw.wav

All three files had the correct orientation.

I think maybe something you are doing in the program you are using to look at the waves externally is flipping them. Do you have Audacity? Try looking at them with that or another program.

Ahh my bad, I only tried a few waveforms not a different wav-editor.
The bug is in Beatcleaver then, thanks for the reply.

Did anybody else get this when buying Fathom?

Never had this happen with Paypal before. Hope there's nothing irregular going on here.

I got that after buying something as well once, it's just a review. Nothing to worry about.

I just tried it myself with paypal and it works fine ...

My order went through, I received the "goods" (download and software update pass code), just followed by the aforementioned mail.
Let's hope Paypal hands over the payment for my order to you as soon as possible.

I use Paypal since 2004, and it occurs again sometimes for me as for probably everybody. Don't worry, it can appear as weird but there is nothing abnormal here. The Paypal engine makes random samples on the huge daily stream of transactions to make a list so that the staff can proceed sometimes on random manual checks. Around a thousand are sampled every day throughout the world. That's all. The transaction is generally completed within the next hours or within the two days. It can be annoying but it is a good security, because it allows the Paypal developers to perpetually improve their security engine for our sake.

I just released Version 1.0.5 which includes the new Wave Table Morphing oscillator.

This new oscillator enables you to modulate the waveform indexes of a 16 x 16 = 256 wave space which opens up endless possibilities for real-time 2D wave morphing. The tables can be used for a conventional morph, or the right side table can be used as an operator for addition or subtraction from the left side operand wave table. The amount, frequency, phase and pulse width of the operator waveform can all be modulated with Fathom's signature per sample modulations.

The partials dial pre-calculation is also implemented for this oscillator just like the the other oscillators, requiring 64 partial frames x 32 table waves x 4096 floating point samples, so yes, you can now use Fathom as a RAM test.

Morphing includes a Pre-FFT skip cycle function for adding "ultra-fat" sub-low frequency texturing to your table modulations.

This release is different from the alpha test release, as the oscillator graphs are now animated and show all three oscillator states in real-time, 16 frames per second.

I also added a "fill" function so if you edit several waveforms in each array, you can automatically fill the un-edited waveform positions with a single button click to create perfectly smooth waveform transitions graphically and in real-time.

Alpha testers, thanks so much for your help on this release, you will notice a lot of fixes and updates to the oscillator since the alpha test version.

Tomorrow I will be updating the video preview to show the real-time animated oscillator graphs.

Also, good news, with this major feature done, I will be spending the next two or three weeks doing nothing but user feature requests.

This looks interesting, will the Mac version have the same initial KvR discount when it comes out?

Post

Yes. The Mac version will also be discounted for KVR members.
Max OSX AU will come out sometime late June.

Hi Everett,

Can you please add a link in the first post pointing to https://www.fathomsynth.com/updates/, as it is not so clear where someone can get the latest update if he/she has already bought the synth?

Thank you for your excellent work, and dedication to listening to your users, i wish every coder was like you :)
