The Guitar Center $10 Synthmaster deal was pretty sweet.

As was the IK Multimedia 2014 Winter Olympics group buy. $99 for Amplitube 3 and 4 expansions.

The recent HGS group buy was pretty good too.

Not to forget the Audio-Midi brainers from years gone by. $15 for Steven Slate Drums 3 (Kontakt), $15 for Ultra Analog and String Studio.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

Not a plug-in, but Wave Alchemy's Synth Drums for £1 is probably the deal I'm most pleased with. One of the finest libraries of drum hits I've ever heard. Every hit is useful, every hit is characterful. I went on to buy Drum Tools 1 and 2 as a result. After the disappointment of Zero-G's 10,000 kicks/10,000 snares packs (they seem a no-brainer for £19.99, until you find there's zero timbral variation as all 10,000 sound like they've been mastered through the same chain of equipment) the sheer quality of the Wave Alchemy packs has been truly refreshing. An infinitely better value proposition.

For actual plug-ins... Hmm, I dunno. Maybe Harmor for $50 from JRR. Or perhaps The Mangle for $20 full price (despite the shitty support and perpetual beta status - would still buy it again).

philharmonik CE for only $50. I bought it a month earlier for $100 and wouldn't have hesitated one bit at $50.

I got bx_rockrack this weekend cause I didn't had money to buy the VSM3. Now I have and it's still on sale and I don't have a coupon :(

I like the Zero-G ones a lot, but based on your review of the Synth Drums pack I thought "Bummer. How did I miss this sale". Then just to make sure I didn't buy it, I searched my "audio order" folder in my emails and I found the order confirmation. I bought it and completely forgot about it. About to check it out! Thanks!!!

There have been so many crazy cheap deals. OP, find a product that you like and google it with the word "sale" at the end, or "coupon" and you will be able to see when it was on sale and for how much.

I have often bought cheap stuff that is not on my wish list, but if it makes sense I do it. For example, I got BreakTweaker a year ago on sale for less than $40. I got it because I wanted the factory samples that came with it. In the end, I started using the plugin as well and am happy I did. 2 months later Izotope had another sale and I was entitled to get all of the remaining expansions ( 4 of them) for free because I had purchased Breaktweaker 2 months ago. The Factory library + the 4 expansions for less than $40 (not to mention having the plugin as well) is just silly cray cray..

One item that had been on my wish list for several years was Sasquatch Kick Machine, which I recently got on sale for $20, the cheapest it has ever been. Waves dbx was also on my list. Got it for $30 six months ago. Coupons have been very good to me.... Waves CLA-3A for $16.88 thanks to a Waves coupon. Upgrading to SPL EQ Ranger Plus for $4 thanks to a coupon was a steal. Getting Sonic Charge Bitspeek for $3 thanks to a Christmas coupon was a really cool surprise. Some of the best deals have also been the limited time free ones. I still can't believe that I got Izotope DDLY and Unfiltered audio Indent for free.
Play it by ear

It seems everytime I look at that site it always offers kontakt stuff. No longer worth checking.

Seems to be a deal on Wave Alchemy full drum bundle there at the moment which is pretty decent

Pretty much my path, think I got all three kits for around £40. Great quality and loads of variation and don't need much processing to sit well in a mix.

There's a $99 deal on a larger collection from WA including the above plus more at present but think with those three and Driven Machine Drums I'm pretty much set for drum samples. :)

Edit: sorry should have read the rest of the page, the VSTbuzz offer's already mentioned
