Ok, I'll pick EVERYTHING!

nah, I'll go for 2 libs by "The Unfinished" - Pangea & Ferox for Omnisphere :)

And... a big thank you
photonic wrote:Hi all,

What else can I say as a big THANK YOU! I am deeply honored and happy about this result!

Second let me congratulate Bzur, Carl, Aditya and Bluerobort for their top places :tu:

When I saw that we have another "any synth" round, I did not need to think about which synth I should use. Zebra is the only synth where I make some sounds from time to time beside the OSC. So I had a collection of sounds I was allways waiting to use them one time. But I did not use which genre. But right before this round I saw a wonderfull video from JunkieXL where he described the strings arangment for the Batman vs Superman film. This Video gave me the inspiration. And I wanted to give this track a hugh range of emotions, from clam begin to full attack, like you often have in movie trailer music. And I am so happy to see that it worked not only for me.
And I have to say thanx not only for the points I got, also for all the great comments I got on SC.

Prize: I will take no prize. I allready have all synth and soundsets I can use. So Bzur, you can pick everything!

And then there are those of us who have our personal voting trolls.
To who ever might be concerned...

I personally don't judge you, because I don't know you. Here's just some questions:
1.) Which rule did I break? Where's that rule stated?
2.) Who was harmed?
3.) Why is it trolling to come up with a voting scheme that clearly states my winner and neutralizes any other track because I don't care? Do I have to use patch courtesy here, to pretend that I can say which is 4 or 3 or other way around?
4.) Why is it trolling to try to fix a in my eyes broken voting scheme? I want to vote for my top places and not come up with a PhD style descripition of a inherently complicated/broken voting scheme, which is based on no less than gut feeling and which is not better or worse than any other voting scheme that is inside the rules?
5.) Are noobs have to obey to unwritten rules, that are made up by the closed circle of long time participants? What are those rules?
6.) Do you realy have had all knowledge 360 degree to find a objective judgement like you pretended to give here about me? Have you asked for an exlplanation before judging?
7.) Seems like you observe very closely who is giving you points and who not? Why? Should I try to find a interpretation for that behaviour?
Regards
Peter
Listen, Peter, your rebel spirit screws with the established voting concept, as much as many of us don't like it, but you put your own song on place 2 along with everybody else. This is quite narcissistic, I'd say, knowing that everybody else puts his song literally on last place, since there is currently no way to exclude it.
On top of that are you throwing a wrench into all the actual effort we ALL are making to listen and consider our sense of value for each and every song. While you just literally insult everybody with a lazy toss that shows 100% that you don't care. I'm not asking you to be a "sheeple", but to pull your head out of your darker regions and reflect all our courtesy by your own.
Currently all you represent with your mindful mindlessness is nothing but a disrespectful error. Voting troll.

You cannot comment some track with "Great!" then give it 1 point. At least rate with "crappy track" to be fair. It's just not right and sounds like trolling to earn votes. I propose all votes with generosity less than -100% to be automatically rejected and user disqualified. Also giving 1 point to everyone makes you think maybe you haven't even listened all the songs completely. It would take me 3 minutes per round to vote like that... but again if everyone is ok about it so am I.

This pathetic fail just leaves me speachless Taron...not a single question a answer I got, but just acusation, and you call me narcistic...sure...your acting like a spoilt kid, sorry no offence. but i dont talk to 8 year olds.

@Taron and Peter H, and others: Can we move this discussion to the general thread? And we need to be a bit more civil about it. Overall it was a nice month   . 1 set of outlier votes shouldn't derail things here.

You promote just your interpretation of a voting system as common sence...
I have asked some very specific questions...one was "Have I violated any rule?" ... and there was NO answer but more acusations based on "shoulds" which is purely subjective. Get me facts or stop that bs.

No, if those guys call me asshole or narcistic...why the hell you don't give a statement and end this bs...naming it "outlier" vote..nice...why? does it violate any rule to be named like this? Be one time precise about it. or is it only that you're surprised that sbdy does not meet your (purely subjective set up implicit) expectations?

If you can move posts, or even just get rid of them, I'm all for it! It's getting scary. :scared:

You started that bs...to be very precise. Any of my question answered? No? That's just scary...

Of all the history shaping, legendary things I aspire to be (and will inevitably become), a keyboard warrior is not one of them. 8)

That said, I do feel a gust of righteous fury coming on...

I love it. I'm not starting a riot for a change. LOL.

I think it is better to move all this discussions to the General Thread. I have some small things to say there as well ;)
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Bitwig 5, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49 and some software instruments / synths.
