Wasn't a big fan of Soundgarden but I recently went back to Audioslave first album and damn this man could sing his heart out. Something in his voice makes me think about a lion or a panther powerful and piercing roars. Too "young" to die...

RIP Chris Cornell.

Really sad, incredibly soulful singer even when heading into metal screaming territory. Loved Soundgarden and Temple of the Dog. Saw Soundgarden on their Badmotorfinger tour at Brixton Academy and is still one of the best gigs I've ever seen.
