I am interested to hear any opinions on MPC 2 If any one is using it already? It seems very powerful from what I have seen and I am interested in getting an MPC Live....it seems to play clips and be able to record full audio tracks; may give Maschine and even some DAWs a run for its money?
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I just ordered the MPC LIVE - some what intrigued, the MPC 2 Software comes with it but cant try it until the hardware arrives.....
Never used the MPC software, but V2 looks pretty nice- sort of like Machine but with full audio tracks and seems to have clips like Ableton Live...I haven't really bought the MPC LIVE to tether to a PC, but its cool that it can do that as well.....
Be interested to hear if anyone else has the beta for MPC 2?

Look forward to hearing your impressions of it. If it can reasonably function as a DAW and not just a 'beatbox'...SLiC wrote:I just ordered the MPC LIVE - some what intrigued, the MPC 2 Software comes with it but cant try it until the hardware arrives.....

I will post- they are due in the UK on the 30th (so I am told)
The stand alone unit has 8 linear style audio tracks in addition to the standard patterns, so theoretically you can use it as an 8 track (with audio editing) as well as a drum machine/looper/clip player...
We will see!
