ST2LE freezes system when loading sounds under Tracktion

PROBLEM SOLVED:
Tracktion "Use Realtime Priority Mode" must be disabled!

Tracktion 1.6.0.1 (and 1.5.1.16)
ST2LE 2.0.7
Double click a sound to load it,
system freezes!
Mouse cursor frozen, keyboard unresponsive.
Requires power off & restart.

Machine specs
HP Pavilion zv5160us laptop
XP Home 2002 w/SP1 & all critical updates
P4 2.8GHz, 1GB PC2700
Page file disabled.
556MB free at time of freeze.
