I have used Tracktion for more than 10 years. I have been very positive towards it until... recently. Version 7 seems to have so many bugs and just bad design aspects.
I am not going to go into that here... I have a specific question!
Can someone explain the value of exporting an EDIT? I.e., I have projects that have lots of edits. Now, I have decided that ONE edit is the one I really want to hang onto, and I want to save just that edit, with its associated audio and midi files. So, I export the edit! Then, however, if I try to open that edit... nothing. It seems like an edit without its Tracktion file is useless.
Does anyone know what I am talking about here?

Better post this question again in the dedicated Tracktion subforum. That's where all the knowledgable Tracktioneers hang out
I've just done a search on "export edit" in the Tracktion subforum and these are the results. Seems like there are options to export a rendered wav, or as an archive (including media)
