Not quite.

Ofc, it can be used to create supermegahypersaw preset packs and sell it to stupid EDM kids trying to copy other stupid EDM kids. Or it may be used to make complex timbres, e.g., consisting of oscillators running trough different filters (e.g. imagine layering a sound produced by classic VA singnalflow with a sound made with use of comb filter where velocity controls crossfade between the layers), easily save and revert to your work. Up to you.
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

You know, I'm kind of getting over that whole stupid EDM kids thing. I don't go to clubs or parties anymore adn I don't have to deal with them anymore. I'm finding myself "getting" the whole EDM synth concept lately as well. Software is just a whole other animal and it takes a while to wrap my head around it, but I'm kind of over busting on the kids at this point. Just don't lock me in a room with them, or force me in a Mexican taxi with it blaring out the windows and I'm fine. I understand that you couldn't continue to make a buck off preset packs if you can't sell multi timbrel patches. I'm not going to bust on anyone for making a buck and I know they don't make much but pennies off it anyway. It's a little too late to be not adapting to the situation. I just have to get over my pride.

While exploring Synthmaster One, I put together a demo track using 16 tracks of factory presets including leads, basses, pads, plucks, and sound effects, plus 5 tracks of drums (Studio One's Impact, Kick 2, a couple of loops) plus some vocal samples from NASA. It's sci-fi electronica, not EDM, so hopefully someone will find it interesting and useful.

I'd be interested to hear what other people are making with this synth.

What would you think of a 4 part (4 layer) version of SynthMaster One, like the Nord Lead ?

... so that we could move the code to hardware :hihi:

A great beginning would be to be able to run synth master one on a Rpi. Have you thought of porting it?

So I noticed that the synthmaster one controls now work properly on a touch screen. Was that something in an update? If so, will the same adjustment be applied to Synthmaster 2?

Yes, there's A LOT of HYPE going on about this VST. Haven't tried it yet, but I will be getting it soon. What do ya'll think about it?

Regarding the sound, it seems quite free of coloration, very pristine.
That should let the sound designer, and selector of wavs a great latitude
when making new sounds. I also like synths that I consider have some coloration,
Zebra and Hive are my favorites, with a light petina of bronze,
and white gold, respectively, and their coloration has a lot to do
with why I like them so much.

Synthmaster One sound also reminds me of a very good hardware rompler,
(Proteus 2000?) that sounds generic enough to fit in many mixes, but also has all
the sound design elements awaiting to future-proof it.
Cheers
