Komplete 11 update sale?

Do they run sales on the upgrade at all? It's $199 for me and has been since last year's sale.
What I will finally end up buying it for is to wipe all old installations and clean install new ones. My NI directories are like a rat's nest, just strewn hither and yon across my hard drive. The Reakor 6 installation was the final nail.

If I buy the download update to K11, is there one giant chunk to download/install or can I just install the stuff I want? There was a note somewhere that said I temporarily have to have 50GB free on my system drive for the install...
Hope someone can help me with this question.

Afaik you can decide.
They show up as separate products in Native Access in the not installed section and you manually select which ones you want to install.

Good to know, thanks!
So I won't have to buy the physical update to avoid a download fest...

I think it was discounted last time I upgraded; always check regular shop and blowouts shop trying codes FORUM and/or GROUP, add to basket and see what happens. If you already know that, maybe someone can still benefit.masterhiggins wrote:I hope JRRshop can give us further discounts. Uncle E?
I'm thinking about passing on this one. All I really want/need is the Reaktor upgrade.
Not sure if I'd even want to pay the extra $100 for UNA CORDA, SESSION GUITARIST: STRUMMED ACOUSTIC, and SYMPHONY SERIES ESSENTIALS.

i have no idea. they've been moving from service center to the new version of it called 'native access' but so far i've only used it for a few things. it works the same from what i can tell. downloads updates.. installs them for you but only after you tell it to. i don't think there is anything automatic about it. no idea about the copy protection.original flipper wrote:Hi
Can anyone explain what the (new) copy protection is - I don't have my DAW computer online and heard that unlike the previous set up (service center - or whatever it was called) the latest copy protection requires that your DAW computer MUST BE ONLINE?
Also - does this new c/p auto update and access the NI site for software updates?
Many thanks
i was on komplete 8 or something so the update for me made sense to get 'form' and reaktor blocks etc.. i ordered the boxed version so it'll all be on a HD w/an installer. can't possibly deal w/downloading everything.

For some reason, this time around Ultimate is damn tempting (from "Kontakt 2"). Maybe my musical interests are starting to broaden again (having been wider before I focussed on becoming a drummer) - non-Ultimate just hasn't got what I'd be after, though. And I can't reeeaally justify the cost (coming on the heels of my TrapKAT 4 purchase in April). Maybe next year... (Or the Autumn sale if that's as good a deal.)

Vortex... they have a download option. My questions is if you buy the boxed version does it cost more to ship it with the hard drive than just getting the download.
Second question is if you buy the boxed version do you get instant access to the software via native access?

shipping is free but it's ups ground. you can pay a little more.. $10 or $15 for faster shipping.Scotty wrote:Vortex... they have a download option. My questions is if you buy the boxed version does it cost more to ship it with the hard drive than just getting the download.

i don't think you get instant access because you don't have your serial # to register the product yet.
