Buzz machines and effects can be loaded into it....Well acording to the blurb

Post

they just paid the licence... and it's imho too expensive for jorgen and for a 39€ software!!

you can load ext in buzz with the polac wrapper. but create a thread cos we are largely out of contexte here ;)

The multiband compressor is particularly good, as well as some VERY nice EQs, but the real gem is, at last, a working sidechain compressor!

Lot's of other gems as well. I can't quite believe I've not found these before.
Anyone found an English translation of the details of these?

there's this nice looking mixer

Image

that can be gotten from here but I can't seem to get the send/returns working.

Are there any other mixers out there that are worth investigating?

I love XT's mixer. Its not perfect and there could be some great advances to it, but its great!

I remember this one from my Bidule experience, it's nice, but sadly quite a cpu hog (for a mixer, at least)
eXT's native one is less fab in looks, sure, but nearly as functional (the CMX eq strip si not very good anyway)

There was one at Tracktion Faction ...I'm not sure if it's still there

Straight from the readme...

Coolgate v1

this is coolgate, filtergate plugin triggered by midi. You select a midi channel and note in the top left corner, this may get removed as it's

It contains to Attack+Decay envelopes. One for the amp and one for the filter. The filters are the current priority for improvement, as right now it's the standard SE filters. I want something ballsier, but I currently don't have the $$ for the impOSCar filters ;)

The other 2 knobs are how much the filter envelope and velocity modulate the filter cutoff. Dead center is no effect.

Anyways, you can use it for all those 'fun' trancegate type effects, or run a pad through 5 of them triggered by an electric drumset. Mesh heads are the best ;)

I'll stick with the built in mixer :scared:

I'm sure it's nice, but damn that thing's ugly..

Piranha asked me if I could add a "Rest" value to my Velocity 2 CC plugin, like his has. Well due to the internal structure of my plugin I couldn't add it. He liked the controls on my plugin better than the standard SE controls he had used on his, but he is too busy coding another VST project and learning a new programming language to work on his old SE projects... So I offered to re-skin and fix some automation bugs in his plugin.

Make sure you turn the "Rest" value off before you change the CC# otherwise it will output the "Rest" value for each CC# you pass...in other words if the CC# is 74 and you change it to 14 Every parameter mapped to CC#'s 14-74 will be set to the "Rest" value. Same thing if you switch the output channel...just remember to be carefull with the Rest value. If you don't understand what I'm talking about, then don't bother downloading...this plugin is not for you.

this question is about the mixers, it seems that the ext mixer has vey little dynamic range, or atleast headroom, atleast thats what it seems like when you look at the db meter, it quickly hits the red zone on kicks, where evrything else is well below, and the kicks sound right (not to loud)
i dont notice this when i use cubase, is this just because cubase gui programmers have taken more time to make the cubase db meter act better in respond to sound or does ext have less headroom, in its processing, why would that be, whats the bit depth of exts ......audio engine. if i may call it that.

I just made a 8 outs 8 ins routing matrix, enabling to route any input to any output, and even to several outputs. easy to do with synthedit, but I needed one, so if someone needs it too...
please let me know if someone can host my files ;)
