Well setting it to 880 is easy enough if you use the shift key while adjusting the knob but yes it becomes harder and harder to set a specific value as you go up the scale. I agree editable values would be a good idea so I'll put it on the todo list.Giova942 wrote:Would be great to have clickable boxes to enter exact values, instead of just using the dial knobs.
Example: Try to set the tone generator to 880. It's hard to do it just using the knob.

Of course I'll follow any update you'll made.swatwork wrote: I don't mean get rid of it, just a bypass option so it can be switched off when not needed.
But not sure if that will be bothering other users.
Anybody else testing/using DD Utility, want to comment?

So if we can make request....
The knobs color for per band in DD Equaliser are dark blue and light blue.
Possibly the light blue can be more lighter (or other color?),
so we can see per band easier and working faster

The pan behaviour of the Utility needs to change - I was never happy with the default '3dB' dip from the start as it's confusing and gets in the way of making simple gain adjustments. You're not the first to comment on it so I doubt other users will be bothered and any changes I make will retain the current functionality even if it ends up being disabled by default.kinwie wrote:Of course I'll follow any update you'll made.swatwork wrote: I don't mean get rid of it, just a bypass option so it can be switched off when not needed.

Thanks for bringing this up, I hadn't really thought through the implications of this on the overall usability of the plugin and your comments have definitely helped.

Glad I can share a useful thought!swatwork wrote: Thanks for bringing this up, I hadn't really thought through the implications of this on the overall usability of the plugin and your comments have definitely helped.
DD effects bundle is totally the top class "Everyday's tools"
It is because :
- They cover almost all daily tasks, essentially needed tools and fx for a recording/mixing job.
- Clear UI, makes eyes healthty
- Super-friendly CPU usage so less scaring your DAW exploded, LOL
- Less knobs and great result, unlike those super-complex plugins which sometime cause confusing to dial which knob first. So, less time consuming for simpler task and get out of the studio and hangout wirh some chick!
- And of course, it's free!

The Instruments and Effects bundles have now been updated to 1.2.
The Utility effect has been reworked slightly to include more options for the pan control - a choice of linear or equal-power pan laws and a bypass option.
This update also fixes a few outstanding problems with the tooltip parameter displays (all plugins) so updating is recommended if you want to avoid these.

Wow, Steve, just fantastic! DDCompressor has become my go-to compressor over all others.
I hadn't even noticed at first until I read this forum thread that you had added mdaEPiano to the mda synths you had skinned. EPiano has mopped the floor with every Rhodes-alike that I have tried since I had to sell my Seventy Three half a dozen years ago. The lack of GUI was its only downside and you have now eliminated that.
Well done, very well done! Thank you for helping my musical creativity and the creativity of the musicians I work with.
