Why? I don't write the code. It's a shame that so many people have to go through this.

It's not like I'm wrong. If so, I'd stay out. For everyone who likes it, there are at least 5 that have issues.

I'm not breaking the rules, people should know about the problems.

So what if we have issues?! Tell me about one DAW that hasn't issues! Or, at least write what are your issues exactly with this release or stopfefe ...
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

I'm sure he'd find an issue, if he had to.

That would be useful actually! So we can test the issue(s) and try to replicate them.

I'll be glad if someone can test my issues, so that I know if it is only with my system or not! I don't know, I think it is more useful than just chit-chat and opinions after opinions after ... it gets boring really! Something practical is needed more than just history and opinions in such threads, don't you agree?

Regarding the plugin multicore options: I think that is pretty normal, as far as i read, there can be issues, if both the host, and the plugin tries to distribute the processing on multiple cores. So, i guess, it's recommendable to turn at least one of the options off. I would just turn the plugin's multicore support off. If you have a fairly decent CPU, one core will be enough to run an instance anyway. Well, maybe not for LuSH-101, but, surely for Dune 2.

Post

Yes this is what I do regarding the multi-core. I'm disabling the ones in the plugins.
I have a mid range cpu (in my desktop), but it is more than enough with the new CPU optimizations :D

The host can only destribute one plugin to a core, multicore support in DAWs means balancing that load of individual plugins over the available cores, with Diva and Dune 2 using multi core always makes the CPU better not worse. I will check in S1 but I am sure that is the case here. If not then it's an issue with S1 ability to balance the load across the cores.

but when the theme becomes people complaining about the same person warning everyone perhaps it would be prudent for that person to allow one of the 500% having issues to take over. This isn't a warning but like has been said, you've made your point again and again, maybe it's time to give it a rest ;)
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

If this is the case with Incubus, is it not fair then to admonish the same poster who constantly posts the opposite blatant " this is the best DAW ever" type posts. Equally as provocative.

Maybe he's ( incubus ) is just venting his frustrations out a tad . Maybe S1 is like that girl he likes to make happy time with every so often but doesn't want to make her his girl ... Because she's got issues , so she ironed out one of the main ones after how many years now ??? I guess it's too late ... He's moved on , no more happy time .

Post

This is ridiculous.

Look Hink, You don't like me. What woodsdenis said is correct. I can't win.

And here's another point, even if I was gone, the same fanbois are going to give the next person a hard time too

As mentioned, I said positive things in this thread. Hink and others just ignore that.

Ontol, did EXACTLY THE SAME THING in the slate thread. Hypocrite. I've seen more slate-hate threads than I can remember. Nobody cares about that.

Anyways, I'm out. I can't win, the hypocrisy is f**king out of control and MY ONLY MOTIVATION IS I BELIEVE THE COMPANY DOESN'T TREAT IT'S CUSTOMERS WELL.

Post

Perhaps your motivation is an issue no .5 upgrade can ever fix.
On my side, I've had a great experience with Presonus and S1.
Long may that continue.
