Yes our goal is certainly to make all products resizeable, or offer a couple of sizes to choose from, like in The Legend. At some point we can expect 4K notebooks to be more common, while at the same time other users may prefer huge screens with low-res interfaces in order to fit as much as possible on screen. So variable GUI size seems pretty much mandatory for the future.

I would love to see some more aggressive FM modes in DUNE 3 if possible. But I really love this synth, it is a very unique item in my collection and is has the lowest CPU when compared to similar patches in other synths.
I'm not really a preset guy, but I really found the factory bank in DUNE 2 to be awesome! Lots of inspiring sounds I can play for hours.
Keep up the great work Synapse!

It should be finished within June I think
Kevin has been ill for a few days, hence there was a small delay.

Yeah, we have been working on it basically since 2.5 or so, whenever we had the time or some idea came up. Then after Legend's release we have been pretty much working full time on it.HcDoom wrote:Are you already working on Dune 3?Richard_Synapse wrote:It should be finished within June I thinkKevin has been ill for a few days, hence there was a small delay.

DUNE 3 ! Wow that's great news.
So... When can we expect it ?
DUNE 2 is my favorite VST-Synth, I'm sure DUNE 3 will exceed my expectations.

Please, for the love of GAWD, a parameter lock for the modulation rate. having to change the modulation rate and quality setting EVERY SINGLE TIME I change a preset... jeez. At least put it on the front page.
Looking forward to it as well.

Yes this would be a great feature to add.Dasheesh wrote:Please, for the love of GAWD, a parameter lock for the modulation rate. having to change the modulation rate and quality setting EVERY SINGLE TIME I change a preset... jeez. At least put it on the front page.

I'd think it surely is a setting which is obvious to be saved with a preset. Could become pretty dirty, if you switch to a preset, which makes use of a lot of unison voices, and the modulation quality was set low intentionally, to keep CPU use in check. But, OK, maybe an optional padlock, so that you can lock the modulation quality if you want to, would be a good idea.Dasheesh wrote:Please, for the love of GAWD, a parameter lock for the modulation rate. having to change the modulation rate and quality setting EVERY SINGLE TIME I change a preset... jeez. Yes an optional lock, and I understand why it's set to the low setting. There Are some patches my new i7 with pce drive can't handle on full settings. That's because there are 3000 oscillators going at full reverb on an 8 part multi... which is ridiculous. Took me a minute to figure out that "voices" were actually parts of a muti. That really doesn't need to go beyond four parts obviously. I don't think I've ever seen a multi go more then four parts, and if you just have to try it you can load another instance.
