iRig MIDI 2 power from??

Can it draw power from the USB port on a laptop, or does it have to be from the MIDI port on the, say, keyboard controller?

Reason I am asking is I am unsure if the midi out of the keyboard controller will provide enough power to do do this?

It gets its power from the pc or iPad/iPhone.
