I have no idea whatsoever what you mean by "auto out of tune" stuff. It is under the control of the user. It just doesn't stop you from doing weird stuff. It's not like it randomly sabotages your attempts to "stay in tune". You even have microtuning per note, if you wish.

That being said, I think your track has potential, minus the occasionally rising tantrums in there.
It's like, you found a sour spot and just try to keep riding on it as if it was a must. Why? Check out the latest release and the presets I've added. Playing it is surely different than ordinary synths, I would never dare dispute that, but once you understand its powers, some pretty fascinating and beautiful things become very possible.

"auto out of tune" - That was meant to be funny and refers to the complexity of an unusual synth togehter with lack of sound designer quality (me) and lack of time and eagerness to learn the synth (me). Fact - Capable synth but as a user you have to be very carefull...and I did some 10 "Oh my god is this so cool"-patches only to find out that I did something realy wrong and got it completely out of tune in context of the track I though okay...me and the synth will turn out to be a "auto out of tune patch" combo...

AAAAHHHHH... WAY different light! ...GREAT and, uhm, sorry, man! ...I'd love to get you into tune with it. There's really some magic in there and you've got in spades what it takes to bring it out! It does take a moment to warm up to the different world LotS represents, though, no doubt. Once you get a feel for the do's and dont's, things will get much, much easier. I wished I could've supported a much larger spectrum of sounds, but that's still to come for future versions.

Well, I'm happy you've cleared that up for me!

Thanks Mikael, so happy to hear that! The spikes in your track, you could've tried to compress or limit those tracks to make it less shocking, hehe. ...other than that, that's wonderful to mediate with!

ANYWAY, I've just made a little video (finally), despite mosquito attacks and cat interruption. I just kept going. It gives you an overview and some explanations. It's much, much longer than I thought it would/should be, but well... maybe I'll make a tighter one later, too:

thanks for the advice taron but it turns out most of the plugins i used was compression, limiting and the softclipper to tame those "spikes",
it wasn't like i was forced to I just had to keep those resonant spikes because i loved them so much... and i guess i took it a bit to close to 0 for soundcloud (sounded better before).

by the way, thank you taron for creating my new pet. this is a great synth

By the way, I understand why you like the spikes (though they are a bit extreme.). There's something physical and meaningful about them.

... I just had to keep those resonant spikes because i loved them so much...

I did have some of those in some earlier versions of my track ... I also agree that the resonance you get is quite unlike anything else I've squeezed out of other synths, and is nice. Just dumped them because they were just too much out of character for the piece - but I still loved them!

Need to see if there's a way to tame them a bit, but still keep their great unusual character. I expect Taron will chip in here.

Big thumbs up to this little beasty! But I have said this before, but don't mind saying it again. In the future I am sure we will see controls and subsystems on it to allow a greater range of sounds. This baby will grow! So how would you go abaout getting reed like sounds?

... and ... you have springs - why not a spring reverb? Hehe ... or is this too far away from the digital domain these days? I so remember them being the affordable reverb (for vox!) on the road for some time. Managed to get 2 second hand watkins copycats for the organ and lead guitar ... I digress ...

Awesome. It does make more sense now for me . I have watched whole session. Whole time thinking that you forgot to show ineteresting feature. But in the end it was there - theremin . I was planning to use it in my track for kind of voice simulation but in the end I stick with percs mostly.

LotS is truly uniqe synth and what I really like is the natural/organic sound. Most synth even if they do it nice still sound artificially while this one can sound like it was sampled from an acoustic instrument .
