Dubstation 2 Just arrived!

The original dub delay plugin and still the best! Dubstation 2 takes our most popular product and adds a whole raft of new features, including a dual mode for separate control over the left and right delay times, ping-pong, a new feedback saturation algorithm, and an LFO. Along with an all-new procedural and Retina-friendly user interface and (FINALLY!) ProTools compatibility, this represents a major leap forward for one of our signature products.

All those bells and whistles aside, the heart of Dubstation is our painstaking bucket-brigade delay model. Often imitated, but never duplicated, Dubstation has been the go-to plugin for that sound for over a decade, used in thousands of commercial productions, and with good reason. With the addition of the LFO and saturation controls, Dubstation has moved in to the realm of tape delay emulation as well, and is a sonic Swiss Army knife for delay.

Awesome upgrade. Only $10 for owners of Dubstation 1 ... bought!

No demo, no video, no audio examples on the site????? :?

AD used to make the coolest interfaces.

Now they make ProTools-certified, Retina-compatible interfaces :(

Gonna keep using version 1 and just fire up replika xt for more advanced duties.

There policy used to be if you don't like it you can get a refund. No idea if that still applies ...

Just upgraded. Nice update indeed. Still sounds great, but the Dual delay mode + LFO options make it a lot more flexible.

I dig the new procedural interfaces, but the interface is still a little small on Windows using Studio One with a 1080p 24" monitor. It sounds like Windows is a little tricky with scaling (at least compared to Mac), so it would be nice if these plugins offered some size options from within the interface itself. 150-200% would be great on this plugin. Right now, the Single/Dual mode toggle is difficult to read. Oddly enough, the size of the UI in this thread looks much better on my monitor.

function-wise can't see no wrongz in previous version. Anyway...
get ma money, only not now. Grind's first.

Wanted to upgrade my ver. 1 DS - not possible.
Audiodamage host was obviously screwed for some time ago, they have a note that if you can´t login to their "new" site, use the old site.
Well, my account and plugins are in the old site, but there aren´t any upgrade path in the old site, only in the new one - and when you add the upgrade to the cart and will check out, you must login - and the "new" site will not recognize your username.

Hmmm. The guy in the Audiodamage must be one of the worst salespersons in the world. Makes nice plugins but does not care to fix the site in the way that the buying (upgrading) is possible.

Had same problem. Emailed them and got the answer to just register on the new site and purchase the upgrade.

I mailed them, too. No response.

Hmm yeah I just went through this website chasing process as well.
For me it now goes in the not-worth-the-effort basket.

As much as DS 1 was used heavily in my projects for many many years, Looking at version 2 leaves me a little underwhelmed.
vers 1 was great, mainly cause it was super quick and easy to use and sounded pretty decent.
Looking at vers 2, tbh I have no love for the new GUI, bland central...(IMO of course) and the slight added functionality of the LFO and the dual/ping pong mode, feels like it actually takes away from its focus. Delays have com a long way since vers 1. Function wise if I want a delay that can do lots a stuff, I will open Sandman pro or something that lets you get really creative. Not this, Sorry.

Yep, same one.

Here's the exact answer from Chris btw:
Just make a new account in the new store and buy the upgrade; easy as that.

?? Sounds strange.
If you make a new account, how the system can indentify that you are the owner of the ver. 1?
And if you have then 2 accounts, is that a bit difficult to handle and remeber which products your have in each?

Very useful delay, and cheap price for those of us upgrading.
But I'm not sure I'd have bought it full price without the upgrade discount, at least given the competition nowadays for excellent delays (and the fact I must have about 20 delay plugins already...).

I like the new GUI. The old one was cool, but this one is much easier to read for me.
