Hello,
I recently purchased a sample cd which contains CDDA tracks of single drum hits. What software would I want to use to isolate, autocrop and extract the individual hits?? So far I am doing it manually in Sound Forge, and it is taking me forever...
Thanks in advance!

Simple music philosophy - Those who can, make music. Those who can't, make excuses.

whooops, I read it as 'autocrap' by accident. For that I would've had plenty of tips.
I mean, there are so many plugs out there that autocrap your sounds...
For autocropping I'd just use wavelab's auto split, dunno about anything else.

If you have Wavelab, it can do this for you too. Actually, it can even detech pitches and name the files accordingly (good for doing multisampled patches).
