Remove the folder with Fathom, install the version Everett sent you.
After that you should be able to play polyphonic.

Thanks but still no go.RPH wrote:Remove the folder with Fathom, install the version Everett sent you.

Ive got the original zip which was downloaded from the direct link presented after buying from the KVR marketplace.
Fathom_Pro_32_64_107
This unzips and the file did not request a password (which is why I was struggling to work out hwo to register with the license code I received and thought as no license entered was in monophonic).
Fathom with subfolders; Programs (and subfolders) and Waves (with subfolders).
Then downloaded the update from the website 1.07 https://www.fathomsynth.com/updates
Fathom_DLL_32_64_107 requires zip password and use provided license.
Which contains only the x64 and x32 dll files
Copied the 64 bit dill to replace the original 1.07 in the pro folder.
Moved to vst plugins and scanned.
Loads up.
Monophonic.
Confused.

MFXxx: Yes this is the best place to get fast help on bugs.
OK I will check now myself to see if the DLL update is monophonic.
Please be aware that if you have the pro download Fathom_Pro_32_64_107.zip
you do not need the DLL upgrade as 107 is the latest version for everything.
Both Fathom_DLL_32_64_107 and Fathom_Pro_32_64_107 are for sure polyphonic,
I just downloaded them myself from the website and tested them.
OK, I just tried it in CuBase also, and its Polyphonic.
Something in your host is stuck pointing to an old monophonic version,
or is stuck on the mono setting for the track like the one FL Studio has.
I think you need to clear the host cache.
Your host might think it is the same plugin as the old mono version and might
secretly be using the old version. So please delete the Fathom folder completely from your host,
re-scan without Fathom present, then reboot your host, then re-add the Fathom folder to plugins,
and re-scan all plugins!
Also check if you have more than one Fathom.dll in the plugin path somewhere.

Yep perfect result - Polyphony.FathomSynth wrote:MFXxx: Yes this is the best place to get fast help on bugs.

Deleted fathom folder from vst plugin folder.
Rebooted Cubase.
Closed down.
Copied fodler with fathom 1.07 and associated folders back in.
Rebooted Cubase, startup scan only.
Working.
Except. Ive had a look through (all be it quick) a lot of patches appear monophonic, is this correct. Is there a mono/polyphonic setting in the plugin somewhere?
Thanks
Thanks for taking the time Everett.

Will you be sending out emails to let us know when there are updates? Thanks ...

Yes, most of the "Lead's" are key voice monophonic with up to 8 voice detune.
Generally if glide is enabled and global poly is set to one it is suppose to be monophonic.
But nothing is "stuck" on monophonic.
You should be able to take any preset lead, turn off glide, turn up poly, and it will be polyphonic.
The web site is the best place to check for updates.
The next version will be 1.0.8 which will make all dials host automate-able,
with up to 32 host parameters, dynamically managed.
Dials and graphs will update in real time visually as host envelopes are played,
and I plan on toggle settings being automate capable as well.
108 will also have WAV single cycle drag and drop into graph, and mouse wheel wave audio preview.
Host automation requires major redesign, so 108 will not be out until the end of next week.

Well, I have hundreds of Plug-ins, so having to check websites for updates is not very convenient. I'll probably get update news from this thread anyway.
Ableton Live 9 Suite 32-Bit on windows 7 64-Bit.
Just a quick note. For me, Fathom takes about 40 seconds to load. ''Loading GUI'' ................

The GUI takes less than 3 seconds to load fresh,
and maybe 5 seconds at worst with a very heavy preset with wave tables.
Something is seriously wrong if it is taking 40 seconds.
How long does it take when you add a new Fathom plugin instance with no program loaded?
What type of machine are you using?
Do I read correctly that you are running Ableton 32 Bit on a 64 Bit OS.
That could be extremely problematic.
I would expect Fathom 64 to crash and not run at all with Ableton 32 Bit,
even on a 64 bit machine. I think everything needs to be 64 bit!
If you have a good reasons for running Ableton 32 on a 64 machine and all your other
plugins are working (and you are feeling lucky) try Fathom32.dll and see if it works.
Yes, I can do email updates, actually a good idea, I will try that for 108.

I am using Fathom 32-Bit in Ableton 32 Bit on a 64 Bit OS. All other Plug-Ins work fine.
Thanks about the email updates. I can't do any testing just at the moment. Will have to get back to it. Just thought I'd make a note.

Aloysius, Thanks for finding this!
I ran Ableton 32 and revisited some of my GUI code. A lot of the GUI controls (written a long time ago) had my "deep copy" switch for the image turned on (unnecessarily).
This will reduce Fathom's GUI footprint from 1 GB to 225 MB in 1.0.8.
More details in your email.

Just came across this today. First impressions....WOW
Best GUI ever.
Really like the concept.
Have read through enough pages here to be amazed at Everets response time.
Finding my way around the mono version I notice the filter cutoff only goes to 100 hz. Is there anyway to bet to 0 or 20hz maybe.
Will buy in the am.
Fantastic job.
