Hi!
I am long term guitarist but fairly new to all things synth, and after dabbling for a few weeks with free synths like the Nexus N6 & Synth1 to learn the basics, I pulled the trigger on Reaktor 6. My background is in programming and systems modelling, so I wasnt't afraid of a learning curve, and so far I am having a blast! Especially blocks sound fantastic and provide a great access point for learning more about Reaktor. I am really happy with the blocks and Monark which I bought on here, but I haven't yet found a polyphonic synth that I enjoy as much sound wise! Do you have any recommendations or favourites of similar quality? I am a bit overwhelmed by the user library, any great sounding gems in there?
Thanks for your help!

I'd recommend you look at both ' Photone ' and ' Carbon2 'paradisebunny wrote:Hi!

ah thanks! will check those out, I've only given all the factory synths a very quick spin before I got disctracted by those shiny blocks. Will have to revisit those!

you may also want to look at ' Padrone ' and ' Xantos ' , in the UL ...
both by Paul Swennenhuis , and were payware at one time ...
now kindly released into the wild ...
one of my all time favorites is ' Amphitryon ' by James Walker Hall ...
no longer available AFAIK ... 'twas a payware .ens ...

the user libary is a real rabbit hole that sucks you in. spent hours trying things yesterday! so much great stuff! I also really like this Spark spin-off by Stephan Schmitt himself: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/r ... show/5877/
