I had to re-install W7 and Cubase 5 64 bit. I also installed Toontrack SD2 but Cubase can't seem to find the plugin. How do I solve this?

Some general things to look at....
Can you see the SD2 DLL in your VST folder, and you have that VST folder specified in Cubase?
Are you using Toontrack's Product Manager, or installing SD2 separately? Try the opposite of what you're doing.
Win7 can be adamant about installing/running programs with "Run as Administrator". Uninstall SD2 then, reinstall using Run as Administrator. Reboot your system.
