MORE  !!!
But you're right, I should probably clarify the whole body situation. It's conceptually off-the-wall to begin with, which makes it a little tricky, but I'm sure I could come up with something clearer.

...and, yes, same here, hehe, pitchbend matters should be where pitchbends are. 8)
Once it comes to performance features, dealing with the microtuning is yet another big wellspring of curious stuff, but you gotta get really into it to discover that whole layer of power. I'll have to cover all that with dedicated tutorials, I think.

And...uhm...there isn't really a manual, so... no rtfm troubles! ...another thing I should eventually take care of.

Hi OSCers!

My (unusual) track using the awesome Lord of the Springs. It's alive :) I wish I'd had time to dive deeper, will certainly be using this again. Thanks for the fun Taron :D

22 instances in Live 9 with Simple/Ping Pong/Filter Delays, Compressor, Limiter, EQ8, Saturator, and Reverb
3rd Party Effects: TAL Reverb 4, Liftikus, and Limiter6

Thanks Taron, quite an interesting synth.

Over a year I last did on of these, but here we go...
When I saw Taron's synth was the subject of the challenge I felt I just had to give it a shot!
Interesting and unconventional synth. Certainly not one for any type of sound but I think I managed to push some different stuff out of it. Good work, Taron!

Haven't given this very much time, arrangement is mostly just copy-paste of different parts. Composition mostly done by mouse. Guitar parts with midi-guitar.

DAW: Reaper 5
LotS: 16 instances

Master bus:
ReaEQ, TDR Kotelnikov, Limiter No6

Other:
Klanghelm MJUCjr on drum bus, synth bus and lead guitar, subtly to keep things together
u-He Protoverb on a few things. just one instance, randomized only once...
ReaComp on pad for a bit of side chaining
ReaEQ on pad and hihat
Sanford Delay on one of the arpeggios

Not the best track I've ever made but I hope it's somewhat enjoyable. As always, looking forward to hearing what the rest of the bunch have come up with. Unconventional synths always seem to bring out some wildcards!

Not really looking forward to the voting process, but it's a necessary evil, I guess :P

Good luck, y'all!

Thanks Taron it was a blast playing around with your synth. I really appreciate these unusual and/or unique synths and I can only imagine the amount of effort that goes into making one. I was particularly impressed by the range of sounds it could produce, everything from amusing tinny guitars and marimbas to distorted bells and eh.. slightly stranger stuff.
I'm really looking forward to hearing the stuff people have managed to make with this.

:o ...amazing, right off the bet! Somehow I see my little LotS on a stretcher with an IV attached! :drunk:
Awesome, though...what an absurd soundscape you've crafted. But more comments later... (yes, that's a threat!)

Thank you! :)

This synth is a sleeping beauty of amazing organic sound :D Thanks Taron!
Because of complete lack of free time, I wasn't going to participate - just wanted to make some interesting presets and... you know the rest :D

I think, I need to work more on this track, but the time is really what I don't have right now.

Have started listening to the other tracks, a lot of interesting, cool stuff so far!
I also missed Tarons post with updates so I think I used an outdated version of the LotS since I downloaded a few weeks ago :)

But what happened to the group page where all the tracks were posted? I guess that it is a retired Soundcloud function, but is there any alternative? Someone maintaining a playlist? Would be nice with a decent way of listening instead of having to go through each page of the topic...

EDIT:
Made a playlist:
