Ok. Hmm... How about this:

Not a darn thing. Actually, I'd more than likely sell a good amount of my possessions, maybe even get down to a laptop, phone, and a couple days worth of clothes. Then go travel a bit.

I'm fortunate enough to own all of the music gear I want. It's come thru a lot of GAS fueled purchases :-)

Post

I wouldn't waste it on gear. I'd rather buy some commercial time on some media and shovel some ambient noise into people's homes.

I wouldnt waste it on gear. I'd invest it in my kids futures ( already doing that anyway...)

I cant think of a synth etc i need that i havent got/or couldnt get in a short time. No point buying stuff for the sake of it.

I'd rather see more of the world, the real world.

Some top of the range mics
Drumkit
Another electric guitar, probably a Telecaster and lots of stompboxes

Although far more importantly, I'd quit my day job and get a permanent space for my music making. It's relatively easy to acquire the necessary gear, not so easy to find time and a place to actually use it with a job, family and a smallish flat in an area without reasonably priced practice spaces.

Coincidentally I actually have a lottery ticket somone gave to me right in front of me. First price 3.000.000 €. Draw late July. Fingers crossed.

Unexciting things like new studio furniture, better monitors, a new computer and interface etc.

Modular -- I honestly prefer having a smallish system and don't want walls of the stuff, but would expand my core rack a bit and then also have secondary cases to indulge my curiosity about other modules.

A Rhodes or an Ondes Martenot.

I don't really feel like I need much in the way of gear and am not into the idea of just collecting stuff because I'd have the money for it. The important thing a Lotto win represents for me is never having to work a day job ever again, and taking care of family and a few friends in need.

One million Monotron Delays and build them into a giant feedback matrix under iPad control!
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

Post

I would move house and buy a Rhodes piano, for which I have no space currently.
Other than that, maybe a new computer and a plugin or two, but that's on my to-do list, anyway. Just waiting for the new AMD stuff to mature a bit...

I've got enough music gear .. so

I see that none of you are invested in sources of inspiration...e.g., hookers and blow

Didn't do John Entwistle any good.

And even those taking over his Quarwood mansion has succumbed to it :scared:
