And a little rationale why you think it's horrible

Personally I find Kush Audio to be a little.. Nothing against kush, kush is nice but do I want to buy something from a company called "kush audio"? Not really

The image I get from that name is some skinny white teen with big rastas and red eyes who funds his kushes with some synthedit plugins

Wonder there's no some magic leaves in the logo

Though I've heard good things about the plugins.

What makes these names bad to you? I can maybe see what you mean in regards to DiscoDSP and Audjoo...but even they aren't nearly as bad (IMHO) as SuperMegaUltraGroovy and Cockos as mentioned above.

Admittedly it could come down to warm familiarity with the names. Not sure though. As for names like Fabfilter and Kuassa, I do personally like the way they roll off the tongue and are unique at the same time. I understand that it will most certainly always simply come down to personal preference; I'm just trying to get a better understanding of what others think and how they assess what's good or bad in a name.

Excellent point!

Just like when people pronounce GUI as gooey. As I understand it, that's how the majority of musicians and producers pronounce it, but I much prefer to sound out the letters G-U-I. Gooey just sounds dumb.

@ KV331 Audio - i always spell that "kveel". Probably wrong, but, the number version is quite a tongue breaker. I don't find "u-he" bad either.
