I use the free Elastik player and the free demo that you can download for it. While I've never purchased any soundsets, I think Elastik is one of the coolest, most flexible sample player vsts out there. It reminds me of sample-playing version of Synplant.

I bought a couple of their packs (a guitar one and a dub reggae one) a few years back, to cover up for my musical deficiencies with (reggae) guitar / bass playing, although I need to use them more than I have done so far.

IME, the company are communicative and helpful (when I had a previous installation problem) and some of their packs are very good quality - notwithstanding subjective preferences.
However, I think the packs are a tad overpriced and also I'm not convinced by the Elastik player (I prefer using other formats).
