If Roland made a D50 vst emulation, would you purchase it?

I wish it where possible to pay for one year in advance so you can own the product of choice instead of paying every month and wait a year to own something.
I also hope they will give us the option to turn off the Juno 106 chorus noise like in the JU-06 HW.
The chorus is so noisy that even a noise gate doesn't work on it.

Does anyone kow the D-50 Patch "Touch Intro" ?
I had it 25 years ago on a friends D-50 but he sold his and the patch is lost....
If anyone knows where I can find it it really would help me out.

It's not in any of the net banks archive, which consists of a *lot* of existing D50 patches.supiter6 wrote:Does anyone kow the D-50 Patch "Touch Intro" ?

Of course, if it was a custom patch, you'll be out of luck...
What kind of sound was it?

Well I joined the yahoo D-50 group in 2009 that doesnt exist anymore to ask this question and 1 user told me he had it on a released bank
but couldnt give me a copy of it - so I know it does exist.
It's a punchy lead sound.

It is not a bad stance - you are talking about a complete song - which if I really wanted a complete song that I had lost in time - I would pay for.Caine123 wrote:why not? What I am talking about is 1 yes 1 patch not the complete collection as I dont want the other patches.
The patch is only for old times sake as it would not work in the music I release now, 25 years later. So get off your judgemental hobby horse and chill out in the lovely sun

I guess the next step for me will be to move all these patches *out* of the Roland bank files, and into my native host (Logic) format, which is much quicker and more comfortable to search, organise and work with, and free from the whole bank thing.
I can do this in a similar way to how I did Logic patches for many other synths, by driving custom macros to load/getname/save/stepnext etc to automate saving each patch from each bank to the host format...

Nope. I don't like the way Roland does business and I refuse to buy into the silly subscription model they offer.
