Which one do u use?

Let the debating begin, lol :D.

Just trying help...this might sound odd but you will get alot of feedback from people as to why there is not mention of...

1.EXT (Massive support on KVR)

2.Tracktion (Huge support here as well)

3.Podium (Growing interest in this package)

4.Acid

5.Making waves

6.nTrack

7.Nuendo

8.Muzys

9.Samplitude 7 / 8

Probably a few others as well...

Edit: Modulr beat me to it! 8)

Also many of us use Live 4 *and* Cubase, Sonar, Logic e.t.c. So the choice is a bit difficult.Nice idea though and the votes are already coming in! :)

these "best" threads are always so funny.

Sonar 3 (with help from Project 5 and Kinetic). Why? Because it is ultra stable and lets me tweak and draw all day. There's nothing that this puppy can't do. And it also helps that not only is the documentation adequate, but there are several books (at least 4) that can hold my hand. But the stability and robustness really makes me stay with Sonar.

Logic and Cubase still blow up whenever I try to use them. EnergyXT will be cool some day, but it still is a bit underdocumented. I like Tracktion, but hate ASIO and the MIDI is a bit hard to use. I never could figure out Muzys.

I have a fondness, however, for Arturia Storm and I'm starting to see the logic of Reason. (Wait, I think there's a joke trying to get out there. Quick, shoot it!)

Why not do a really important 'best of', like Best CheeseBurger..or Best Ass-Wipe?

Failing that, I'm in the EnergyXT camp & those seq's mentioned can blow me aside from Live 4 :P

Post

No mention of FL Studio!
:o
Well, my workhorse is cubase sx2, followed by Orion plat (not mentioned either!)

hello Peter,

your options and this thread appear to be somewhat ridiculous - you seem to be interested in sequencers - so why don't you have any clue about that there are many many more than those four you mentioned? :?

It's like asking: 'what is your favourite flower - a rose or a tulip?'

If only someone would let me ... I'd vote for Tracktion ... :(

... or Orion? ... or Audio Studio?

Lucky me, I don't have to decide :D

Tommy
