This tweet has several interesting suggestions:

Pocklington, who ever knew of such a place, great name for an artist !
Black Devil Disco Club, one of the most classic of classic disco synth projects, so why not call yourself "East Yorkshire Syntheziser Club", sounds mighty fine to me !

Having lived in Yorkshire for nearly 30 years, I feel confident to warn that if he ever made any money they would come after him for all eternity until he paid them some for use of the name of the (self-styled) God's Own County.Numanoid wrote:This tweet has several interesting suggestions:

Good point
Another possible moniker I always have liked is "Video Games Crash Of '83"
Or is that too much in the vein of Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark ?

Or you could go the whole early 2000s indie rock, with the "Word the Word" format, but get abstract rather than descriptive.
Merciful the Elbow
Vengeful the Forum
Digital the Feeling
Or you could go all metal and morbid, with superfluous umlauts and shit.

Impënding
I've combined your methodologies into one all encompassing algorithm and created a band name so impossibly good my advisers assure me I won't even have to write any tunes, I'll be the first in history to.....
No wait, isn't that just a DJ?

This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here?

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I was thinking about if I should let it go on a few more days or not and which names I might want.
So far I like the names: From Beyond, Caps Lock, DJ BoomKitty, Axwell I'm going to go check if their taken in google search
@ghettosynth I've been thinking about if I really wanted to produce the genres I listed and your idea about mixing genres seems like a better idea, I'm going to to have to think about what genres I want mix now
