I notice UVI release a new synth every few weeks and always at half price to tempt people. UVI must think we have unlimited resources to buy all these synths. I was thinking of buying Falcon but that's not cheap at around $300. Wouldn't it be fair to add all these new synths for Falcon owners for free?

I believe that a purchase of Falcon comes with a $100 voucher which you could use to buy as many as two new half-price synths (I'm not sure how long the voucher is valid before it expires).

Receiving all the new UVI synths for free, just for buying a license of Falcon, would be wonderfully generous, however it would not be a sound business decision, since the company still needs to recoup all of the costs that go into making a new synth in order to come out ahead with a profit; sales of the new products from just the non-Falcon owners may not be enough to meet the necessary profit goals.

If you buy Kontakt, do you get all the Kontakt Player libraries for free when they are released? No you don't. This is the same thing here.

Yeah I figured my suggestion wouldn't go down very well I guess they need to make a continuous revenue stream somehow. Incidentally I have the UVS-3200 which I really like. Would there be any advantage running it from within Falcon compared to UVI workstation?

Yeah you can modify stuff in it, add modulations, etc.

Concerning the 64-point limit in the multi envelope, the workaround would be, to program 2 envelopes and then alternate them using a sub-modulator (like a tempo-synced, square-shaped LFO) with inverted polarity for the second envelope, so for e.g. 4 bars multi env 1 plays and for the second for bars envelope 2 is engaged. Attached is a quick and dirty FM patch using such a setup.

Thanks. Yes, thats the exact same method I use for Massive when lengthening the performer from 16 to 32 steps.

Problem remains tho afaict if modulating gain/vol. Also together with the inconvenience of toggling back/forth when editing it feels like a 128 limit could be a matter of a few lines of code. Whether or not, 128 or more rimes well with Falcons overall "unlimited" feel and for me it would be a major thing.

No, the problem does not remain, I assigned both of the multi envelopes to keygroup gain in that demo patch, the alternation works perfectly fine.

What is the depth knob for on the LFO's when there is ratio?

I would suppose so that you can scale the output of the LFO and in turn influence its amount across all the destinations it's modulating.

I have two comb filters where I want to control resonance with one macro knob.
The first go from 50-100% resonance when dragging the macro from 0-100 and it is fine.
The second I want to be reduced from 98-90% with the same macro knob. I set the offset to 98 but seems nothing happen when I set the ratio to minus.
Is this possible, and if so, how?
