I've sent the team the request for this type of video and they will be doing their best to get some more video content before release but the best-equipped to do such a video are also working hard on getting the best possible product released (which I'm not using as an excuse, as we/they sincerely understand how helpful such a video would be). I'll continue to see what can be done in this area, thank you.Doc Brown wrote:43 pages and not a single walk through video yet!? Seems hard to believe.
Edit - just checked and we should have a few videos coming soon including a walkthrough style video.

That's also news to me, and with so many changes there I wouldn't count on that being the final answer. We'll verify officially when the date is made official, I promise. If you have a preference between the two, please let me know as it will have absolutely no effect on the outcome. I kid. Though it truly won't have an effect (feel free to discuss).

OOPs Peter. I forgot about my space issue: It's listed at 50 GB and I have 45 GB on my internal drive. I have all my samples on an external drive. Is It possible for me to split up the 50 GB install, or install it all but a vst.dll to my external. Freeing up more space on my internal drive is Non-negotiable, I'm afraid. I'd have to replace it with something bigger, if the install for the Synth can't be done to the external drive. -other than that, cheersPeter - IK Multimedia wrote:That is not a date we have set, no. You cannot split it but you can install to an external drive.spacekid wrote:OOPs Peter. I forgot about my space issue: It's listed at 50 GB and I have 45 GB on my internal drive. Why IKM don't charge the money shortly before the release date is set? Two month or longer they sitting on our money without delivering. I don't mind 2-3 weeks (even that is unnecessary) but this is getting cheeky.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear you are feeling that this is taking longer than you'd like but please note we did state from the go (May 25) that Syntronik would be released in July and we fully plan on that happening according to plan. Thank you for your input.murnau wrote:Why IKM don't charge the money shortly before the release date is set? Two month or longer they sitting on our money without delivering. Like Peter said. It was announced it would be released in July. You knew this before you pre-ordered.murnau wrote:Why IKM don't charge the money shortly before the release date is set? In addition to that, the pre-order low price is still going to be good even ONE DAY before release date.
Correct Peter?
So why didn't you just wait like I and a lot of other people are doing?
You have no one to blame for your displeasure but yourself.

I read that but i didn't see the necessity to grab the money immediately and keep the customers waiting for 8 weeks or longer. Shipping in July could also misinterpreted as the 1st of July back then. Anyway, customer-oriented it would be much better to collect the money of the pre-orders 2 weeks prior release. I don't think that this is technically impossible for such a big company like IKM.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Hi, I'm sorry to hear you are feeling that this is taking longer than you'd like but please note we did state from the go (May 25) that Syntronik would be released in July and we fully plan on that happening according to plan. I think it would have been a good idea , and still is for that matter, to make the launch date a bit more specific by stating "Early July", "Mid July" or "Late July ". Especially now that is officially July.

Do you know exactly the last day of the Pre-Order? I couldn't find it back then please point me to it. So yes, my mistake was that i expected it would be shipped early in July seeing that the money had been transferred immediatly. I didn't expected to wait more then six weeks. They should write "Shipping End of July"wagtunes wrote:Like Peter said. It was announced it would be released in July.
