Or drag and drop the expansion file from the folder directly into the edit window of Avenger.mysteryspy2001 wrote:I Just wanted to verify what is the best way to install an expansion into avenger. msvs has said a number of times that the Nexus Hollywood expansions are precisely the kinds of products that Avenger won't cover. The sampling side of Avenger is too simple for anything that can handle the demands of detailed sample libraries.Warehouseparty wrote:I don't know about the copyrights of the Hollywood expansion packs for Nexus but I'm sure msvs has A LOT of good orchestral samples + knowledge/experience how to use them in described way. I guess that would be my first expansion for Avenger.
What might be more interesting however is a Synthetic Orchestra expansion - not striving for literal realism, but useful for hybrid or electronic scoring.

+1
It's not harsh. I liked that immediately. Softer, fatter, better.
Am tired of brittle sounds (something Spire is full of), but want more than traditional analog.
The demo track made a nice Saturday morning listen
Sounds v usable.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it. It was really a hard way to create this EXP, but it is almost finished. The only but most important thing to come now is the search for a suitable shop to sell it. Most shop are to expensive and I don't know how packs I will sell, perhaps nothing ?!
Since this is my first expansion, I am very curious how the people will like it. I hope that many will have fun with it and it motivates me to create a second EXP.
What I can say so far, is that all sounds are very elaborate. In each preset all macro knobs and buttons are used, so there is always much to screw and press.
Also the sequences are actually no more sequences, but almost small songs.
Here are some details about the presets:
Currently there are 84 presets, 100 should be.
- 13 Sequences
- 14 Arps
- 16 Pads
- 15 Leads
- 9 Plucked
- 7 Bass
- 4 Piano & Keys
- 2 Drums
- 2 FX
- 1 Chord
- 1 Synth
- 11 Drum Kits
- 11 Drum Sequences
- 11 Multisamples
- 33 Arp Patterns
I will keep you up to date!

you know, that you designers always can send soundbanks to us for reviewing. If they fit our lineup, we can sell them in our shop

just out of interest: what kind of monthly report about the sales will those designers get? and how many percent of the income will be retained by you? what happens if i don't want to sell it anymore?msvs wrote:you know, that you designers always can send soundbanks to us for reviewing. Don't want to spend 70$ on a third-party library.msvs wrote:you know, that you designers always can send soundbanks to us for reviewing. If they fit our lineup, we can sell them in our shop
