I noticed the Overdrive's cpu usage dropped to 4% - 5% now
Also some other, like the DeEsser and compressor dropped to 1% - 2% (previously 3%).
Great improvement!
Wondering, what will come out from you next...
But hope it's stay in the reachable price range

All this stuff seems great, but I would like very much an AU version for Mac, especially for the MDA synths. Is this scheduled ?
The GUIs are beautiful, elegant and readable. Bravo !!!

Finally, this release marks the end of the development phase for these plugins; I've no plans to add any new features or additional plugins. From now on it's bug fixes only.

Just noticed (tried to open older project) that Maschine with latest update (2.6.10) doesn't load any of DD instruments. DD vst effects works fine. Dont know what can be the problem, so far all other vsti that I tried work. Did a re-scan but still the same.
Project was made with 2.6.5.
Maybe its on my end, dont know. Only change was that Maschine got updated, vsts are in the same place. Would be useful if someone can test too

My bad
Dont know how this could happen, made a stupid mistake when I was updating. I guess I didn't pay attention, I copied over previous as usual, but x32 in both locations (x32 and x64 folders). Mistakes happen LOL
All good now

Damn good FXs and instruments packs, Channel really reminds me to the SSL Channel and that could make it a good option for people comming from Waves, gotta take them to the dark side of free stuff :v

Nice stuff, thanks a lot!
Questions:
DD Eq: What is the purpose of the two "V" buttons?
DD Channel: The corner freq in the EQ seem to be different for positive gain vs. negative gain.
Is this the same behaviour like vintage consoles are doing?
DD Channel2: What's the diff to Channel beside of having the phase and stereo buttons instead of the limiter?

Channel: 1.5ms of latency because of the limiter.Chris-S wrote:Nice stuff, thanks a lot!

The "V" buttons on the EQ switch between shelf and 'peak' modes for the LF and HF bands with the "V" activated being the peak mode.Chris-S wrote:Nice stuff, thanks a lot!

You can find some info on the EQ response curves here.
The differences between the two Channel plugins is explained here.
And just for completeness, the home page for the Dead Duck plugins website is here.
