Anyway, here's my vote: Minor 9

Everyone in his way.
BTW, the definition of the powerchord is tonica+fift (and maybe octave).

To all intents and purposes, they are power chords, and work for the same reasons. However, the implementation is different in a way that I feel is worth the distinction

Why is everyone assuming it's gaytar chords ?

no favorites, context is all but here's one I def found myself gravitating toward when I relied on guitar for harmony

a major chord in second inversion, say E A C# with a D below the E. Barre the 'A' chord, little finger on D.
Now you can put a G, or an F# below that (bottom or 6th string) for two more chord-things.

I've started exploring Todd Rundgren poly-chords - a 7th/add9 chord(minor, major, or diminished) with the 7th as the bass note.
Or a major 9th chord with the 5th as the bass.
Really fascinating sounds imo

C Major. Because I'm unabashedly happy and uncool like that.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

Pfft! Don't want all that congestion in the mid-bass, so - 3X0033 (The A-string being damped by the 3rd-finger which is fretting the bottom-G)

:tu:
THIS! Except I do like a 3rd in there so open B string usually for me.
