Oh just read about this on the NI forum, surprised there's no thread here considering how central Henry was to the early beginnings and development of electronic music and sampling

Henry created one of the first pieces of tape manipulation electronic music I heard - on Spooky Tooth's "Ceremony". It was the oddest thing I ever heard up to that point and I liked it better than the rock music that accompanied it.
RIP.

Together with Schaeffer, they showed how we could create music just by manipulating sounds. Amazing, especially considering how unimaginatively most people use samplers nowadays.SODDI wrote:Henry created one of the first pieces of tape manipulation electronic music I heard - on Spooky Tooth's "Ceremony".
