I actually just changed that question to:exmatproton wrote: It requires an account name, OR serial from sm, sm one or player.
"Hi there, thanks for joining this group. Which of our products do you currently own? and which ones would you like to own in the future?"

OK then, nevermind. Usually do my Facebook from a mobile device with family and friends, so rarely sign in to desktop Facebook. I guess that rules out most groups. FB has a bit too much data collection and sharing going on for my taste.robotmonkey wrote:Obviously. Thanks. I did not know that ws possible until it was pointed out above and it is a reasonable, appreciated solution. My usual practice has been to have KVR's system flag product updates for me, and then I go to the devs' website and download. Easy to change that for this solution, though. That way I don't need to look up my serial.kv331 wrote:We'd always recommend checking for updates from within the plugin window, so when there is an update you are directed to the correct place with the correct email/serial number so you dont type anything.anxiousmofo wrote:Whuh?

I'm not Facebook user.
Only G+... and I open it very rarely. I've never been confident in the social networks. Especially Facebook, G+, etc. Even with their most locked tweaks. Their policies always change, they always change also their hidden features, they are pure sieves and have more holes than Swiss cheese, every year there are millions of account passwords which are hacked, etc. Even G+ in fact I use it only for my Youtube subscriptions.
Even for the sharing of ideas and words, I have never found any addition to what we can easily do already with the simple forums like KVR, Audiofanzine, Gearlutz, VSE... and of course the internal forums or some brands (XILS, Korguser, Native Instruments...).
Facebook ? What for ? What does it really add compared to forums? I keep on searching... Even for a brand, what does it bring really better and really more secured than an internal forum or than a forum in a widely known space as KVR?
I respect the opinion of everybody. There are probably real advantages that I ignore, but I'm pretty sure that the drawbacks (especially the hidden drawbacks, although all these recurrent hacks are not hidden at all when we see every six months the huge problems revealed) are infinitely more giant than the advantages.
Apart making a little bunch of extremely rich men at its head, what has really brought Facebook to the brands... and much more... to the users? I keep on searching...
I prefer to stick to the forums, either internal to the brands or managed on spaces like KVR. But only conventional forums.
Bah... Question of choice, simply.

Don't worry, possibly the more advanced topics about SM will be discussed here. Facebook is more oriented to less technical discussions and issues, updates...BlackWinny wrote:I'm not Facebook user.

I don't know if it's bug or why it happens, but VAnalog on with cutoff setting @13~hz does super loud high pitch resonance sound, so loud the the layer 1 and master volume have to be lowered to 10% (from the default 100%/100%). The increase in loudness level is so loud that it could damage speakers if the daw doesn't have auto-mute option. This on 64bit demo version of 2.8.10 , 64bit reaper daw

What's your quality setting, higher than good?SiliconDeath wrote:I don't know if it's bug or why it happens, but VAnalog on with cutoff setting @13~hz does super loud high pitch resonance sound, so loud the the layer 1 and master volume have to be lowered to 10% (from the default 100%/100%). I believe there's an issue at very low frequencies (and when you increase quality all frequencies are lowered by the oversample factor)

I think I've been mostly running draft, as that's the default on init settingskv331 wrote:What's your quality setting, higher than good?SiliconDeath wrote:I don't know if it's bug or why it happens, but VAnalog on with cutoff setting @13~hz does super loud high pitch resonance sound, so loud the the layer 1 and master volume have to be lowered to 10% (from the default 100%/100%).
