Sound font player with portamento/glide without retrigger attack?

I'm looking for a sampler VST that will play sound fonts and supports note glide without re-sounding the attack between glides. With a bass sound font, it sounds very unnatural to have the pluck strike whilst bending between two notes. Any suggestions?
