It would be great to do so when you do have the time. Or if someone else is experiencing the issue they can report it and work with IK Support to get all the appropriate details etc and they can then take the appropriate action to resolve the issue.plexuss wrote:I have not. So Aftertouch is coming in an update ? That's good news. I'd love to see greater user control over Mod Wheel, Aftertouch etc in the form a Mod Matrix....and 4 global LFO's.....and a full Mixer Page and a Searchable Browser for Multi Patches and.....
Oh and "Lock Effects, Lock Arp, and Lock Synth Setting options would be really welcome here. That would allow you to load different samples and not lose your Effects or Arp or Synth setting such as ADSR, Filter etc. That would placate those who think Synthronik isn't a synth because you can't load waveforms.

Thanks for the suggestions. I recall seeing someone mention that to avoid the back-and-forth arguments that "IK could set up their own forum" or similar. I know that you, Teksonik, do know about this but for others that apparently may not know: we do indeed have a forum at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/forum and people can post there too if they want to.

And the ability to load in a sample only into a layer and not affect the other parameters (which I suppose the lock features you mentioned would facilitate - but having a separate ability to just load in a new sample without having to mess with locks would be preferable).Teksonik wrote:So Aftertouch is coming in an update ? There are audible artifacts that occur when your overall output reaches a certain level..this doesn't correspond to 'clipping' level on the meter. I've just been riding the output volume low. As you add layers you have to turn down the overall volume. It may be a different problem, or not.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:It would be great to do so when you do have the time. OK, I'm a bit confused. I downloaded Syntronik v1 and SYN_99_Part_1.zip, but that's all I have in my user area. When I started going though the presets, I got to the third one, "Beautiful Square Lead," and I get an error. "Can't find tank file..."
I feel like I'm missing a lot of files in my user area. Should I contact support?

Nope
, that .zip file is the first in a drop-down list, click the arrow and select / download each of the other files. Then install them all.

Hit the dropdown menu arrow next to that download file name. You should see all of the other download files listed below.zerocrossing wrote:OK, I'm a bit confused. You need to click the drop down arrow next to SYN_99_Part_1, that's only the first part of just one of the synths. In total there should be 23 .dmg/.zip files to be able to use every synth that's been purchased.
EDIT: Errr, as mentioned already !
One trouble I'm having at the moment is midi assignment so I can automate it from the daw (Ableton). It's got loads of parameters so obviously I need to manually create assignments, but it doesn't reveal the parameters to the DAW unless I use Midi Learn in Syntronik .. And the issue with that is that if I right-click on the parameter and click 'Midi learn' it then asks me to move a midi controller, though I've not got one! Is there's like a 'force dial to specific midi channel' so Ableton is able to midi learn these knobs on the synth ?

Oh for f's sake. Remind me to hunt down the web designer who that that was a good idea and give them the wet willie of their life. UI/UX: FAIL.DarkStar wrote:Nope, that .zip file is a drop-down list, click the arrow and select / download each of the other files. Then install them all.

I noticed that with SampleTank 3 as well with 9 separate parts. But Syntronik goes way over the top with 23! Way too many parts to download and install individually. Very clicky.zerocrossing wrote:Oh for f's sake. Remind me to hunt down the web designer who that that was a good idea and give them the wet willie of their life. For the folks that buy a complete product, they need to add an express download manager/installer to the Custom Shop or something.

Nah man, you can't blame the designer for this one - Saying 'Part 1' with a drop down button right next to it is quite a darn big clue there's something more !zerocrossing wrote:Oh for f's sake. Yeah agreed, it definitely takes it's time to grab everything. Was thinking an installer manager like what Arturia has would be good but then it can easily go wrong like the Native Instruments one (no control where things go, automatically installs everything, no pause/resume controls etc.) so I'm happy to just use my own Download Manager that works properly !zzz00m wrote:For the folks that buy a complete product, they need to add an express download manager/installer to the Custom Shop or something.
