Here is the release version of An Orchestra Strings using the VSCO2 Community samples. It has a complete String Section, Solo Violin, Violin Section, Viola Section, Cello Section, Solo Contrabass and Harp. In various nkis it can do legato, modwheel xfades, fake ensembles and fake round robins. It generally has 2 velocity layers, the shorts tend to have 2 round robins and there are samples about every three notes. Articulations include Arco Vibrato, Tremolo, Spiccato and Pizzicato.
The most unique thing are the three An Orchestra nkis using the string section for arps and chords.

Note this requires Kontakt 5.6.8 (What can I say OT made me do it as I had to have Inspire!)

Thank you very much for this lovely gift! It must have taken a lot of time and dedication.
I appreciate in particular the polyphonic ensembles, which lend themselves to beautiful and inspiring use with some care.
The solo instruments are less impressive, I think, and the viola in particular sounds like it's been recorded through a telephone – harsh and mid-rangey. Several of the solo instruments also have overly aggressive and clunky attacks that are difficult to tame with the ADSR envelope.
Never mind – the polyphonic ensembles more than make up for any shortcomings of the solo instruments.
Thank you again – a fab job indeed!

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Thanks for your kind words, Joachim. I'm glad you found some good in the ensembles. I agree that the solo strings aren't the best. In both the Community and Pro editions, they are the things I like the least.
I'm working on the Brass off and on now which is largely solo instruments. I quite like the Trumpet and it has some nice articulations, though the French Horn not as much as it is too lightly sampled in Community... It probably works as a background instrument, but I think the Trumpet will be a nice surprise.
